Halloween Hoedown

Hi Tim and Debby,

Thank you for your wonderful performance at the Hoedown last month.

You were absolutely brilliant and even better that your clips on You Tube, if that is at all possible! Everyone has raved about the evening and your music and energy. You really got everyone into the spirit of the Wild West and the line and country dancing. At one stage, I think everyone was up on the dance floor, which must be a record!!  I am sure that you will receive booking enquiries from some of our guests, as they all enjoyed your music so much.

Thanks so much for accommodating the auction, it was such an important fundraiser and we actually raised £12,500 for the charity, just brilliant with 100 guests - that pays for 4 children to go on Dreamflight next year - your part in the guests enjoyment of the evening definitely contributed to the success of the fundraising!

I do hope that you would consider playing for us again, at Twelve Oaks Polo next year, you are right up there on our wish list!!

Oh what a night. My feet ached, arms ached and teeth ached from all the grinning! You did an amazing job on Saturday and we all just loved the Blazing Saddles. Please pass on our thanks as without your energy and encouragement I'm sure we wouldn't have managed to dance quite as much as we did! What talent on our doorstep and it was fantastic for us to be supported by so many staff which I'm sure wouldn't have been the case if you hadn't been there. Just realized that with all the end of term chaos I hadn't said thank you for getting our picnic up and dancing!!

Thanks also for saving the day by arriving early at short notice when Britain's summer threw the best at us (and then some!!) and for being so flexible when things were so up in the air on arrival...definitely all the right decisions were made and everyone had a ball.

We've had loads of great comments and I hope you were pleased with how many people joined in at such an early hour.

I would recommend Spill The Whisky to everyone. They played recently at my daughter's wedding for a traditional Barn Dance and they truly made the evening. The guests, who included Norwegians, Scots, Arabs and people from all over the country all agreed that it was "the best evening ever". The music was wonderful, Debby rarely had to encourage people onto the dance floor, and she struck just the right note, and her directions were clear. A truly great evening.

Blazing Saddles were a fantastic find for our wedding reception - they really kept the party going! Debby is a brilliant caller - her friendly manner & funny delivery got every single one of our guests joining in (even the ones who swore that nothing would get them dancing!)
Debby & Tim had a very long drive to get to us, but arrived bang on time and both set up & packed away with a minimum of disruption. Our communication before the event was friendly & crystal clear - they were wonderful to work with.

We would have no hesitation at all in booking them again & would highly recommend them
